After setting up the Keboard mapping (see my support website**)

follow this order of install.

1. Video driver (E/J)
2. Sound driver (E/J)
3. Modem driver (E/J)
4. Camera (E/J)
4. Sony Shared Library (J)
5. Sony Shared Library (E)
6. Sony DV shared Library (E)
7. Sony UI Library (E)
8. Sony Utilities DLL (E)
9. Sony Notebook setup (E)
10. Power Panel (E)
11. Jog Dial (E)
12. HotKey Utility (E)
13. Bluetooth (E/J)
bluespace
plug in the dongle, turn on Bluetooth, install all 7 comm ports using Original recovery drivers
14. DVgate (E)
15. Smart capture (E)
16. Other Applications (E)
17. Gigapocket LE (J) 

***(must have Japanese Font support installed, see above website).

instally Sony mpeg decoder library (J) before GigaPocket LE
Gigapocket LE (J) is on the Official recovery CD only.
you will need to extract the "AppRecovery.zip" file to the c:\program files\Sony folder
exactly like this:

C:\Program Files\Sony\VAIO Application Recovery Utility\

And then you can insert the Japanese application recovery cd, and the Japanese applications that you need will automatically install to the new English windows xp
NOTE: installing English Gigapocket will get errors. 


NOTES:
(E/J) : English / Japanese driver (will work 100% in both English or Japanese)
(J) : Japanese driver
(E) : English driver / Application

Other Applications - any order.
(but best not to install applications that are not supported due to hardware not in your PC)
